Description
The app helps a user keep the records of items.
How to Use
The iOS and macOS apps are organized in tabs: Items · Catalog · Search · Stats · Disposed, plus Settings on iOS. The version with ads uses a sidebar instead (see Version with Ads).
Items tab
- Presents a list of items, excluding disposed ones
- Click ‘Filter’ to set categories, brands, and/or sellers to see filtered items
- Click ‘Sort’ to sort items by name or date
- Click ‘Add’ to add a new item
- Select an item in the list to see the details, which can be edited.
Catalog tab
- Use the segmented picker at the top to switch between Categories, Brands, and Sellers
- Click ‘Add’ to add a new category, brand, or seller
- Select a category to edit its name and to see a list of items attached to it.
- Select a brand or seller to edit its name and url and to see the items attached to it. The url can be open in a user’s default browser by clicking ‘Open in Browser’.
Search tab
- Find items, categories, brands, and sellers by name
- Disposed items are included in the results
Stats tab
- Presents the number of items per category, brand, and seller
- Choose ‘Obtained’ or ‘Disposed’ to count items by the date they were obtained or disposed of
- Set the start and end dates to limit the statistics to that period
- Select a category, brand, or seller to see the items counted for it
- On iPhone, this tab is under ‘More’.
Disposed tab
- Presents a list of disposed items, which are the items with a disposed date. They no longer appear in the Items tab.
- Click ‘Filter’ and ‘Sort’ to narrow down and order the list, as in the Items tab
- Swipe an item and click ‘Restore’ to move it back to the Items tab. Swipe an item in the Items tab and click ‘Dispose’ to move it here.
- Select an item in the list to see the details. There is no ‘Add’ here.
- On iPhone, this tab is under ‘More’.
Settings tab
- Turn on ‘Require Face ID / Touch ID’ (the name follows the biometry available on the device) to lock the app
- When enabled, authentication is required each time the app launches or returns from the background
- On macOS, open Settings from the app menu or with ⌘,
Version with Ads
The iOS version with ads works the same way, except for the layout:
- A sidebar lists Items, Categories, Brands, Sellers, Disposed, Stats, and Settings. Categories, Brands, and Sellers are separate sections instead of a Catalog tab.
- There is no Search tab. The search field filters whichever list is showing by name: items, categories, brands, or sellers.
- A banner ad is shown at the bottom of the screen.
